![]() Take this back to Tokk in Inkwater Marsh and they’ll give you a Giant Spirit Light Container. You’ll find the Curious Tablet quest item. Now, take your four keystones to the keystone gate and head through it. This will shoot you into a hallway where the Deflector Spirit Shard sits. Head back toward the beginning of the game and in the middle chamber, go through the northwest teleporter. At the top, head left and at the end of this hallway, you’ll find the fourth keystone. From the third keystone, fall through the closest teleporter and head directly north. This will spit you out near the barrier the last lever moved so quickly dash through it.įollow the teleporters here through to the end of the pathway and you’ll find the third keystone. On the other end, quickly bash off the lantern and go into the dim, white teleporter. Pull this lever and immediately jump through the teleporter to your right. You’ll find a lever near the eastern wall. Head back out to where that tree was previously. This will remove a tree barrier blocking your way through the area previously. Jump across to the right and pull a lever. You’ll find the keystone where we’re at on the map below. When this spits you out on the other side, follow the path down and around. Then, jump down into the teleporter on the bottom left wall. From there, head north and take a right when you can. When it spits you out the other side, you’ll find a keystone here. The first one can be found by going through the bottom teleporter closest to the spirit well. The Ancient Tablet is not required to open the door to the Ancestral Tree, and thus this Ancestral Light ability can be obtained without ever actually entering the Burrows. It’s time to open a Keystone Gate. Bashing the flowers in the reverse order ( large, small, large, medium, medium, small, large) will open a door to the right of the Burrows entrance that will grant access to the Ancestral Tree containing one of two Ancestral Light abilities, a passive bonus which will boost all of Ori's damage dealt by 25% each. This hints at the second solution to the flower puzzle. Thus, the bash order to open the door is large, small, medium, medium, large, small, large.Īfter obtaining the Ancient Tablet from deep inside the Burrows and showing it to Tokk, he will complain that the words on the tablet are written backwards. The stones' size and order is the key to opening the door, and bashing the flowers in the same left-to-right order will open the entrance to the actual Burrows below. Additionally, 3 blue glowing flowers with the same respective sizes hang from the ceiling nearby these stones. The stones in the background and to the left of the entrance are in 3 distinct sizes: Small, medium and large. ![]() ![]() He hints that the pointed stones in the background may be the key to entering. Tokk stands by this door, musing how to get in. Originally, the entrance down into the tunnels below is sealed off by a root door. ![]() At the end of the Burrows is an Ancient Tablet which can be brought back to and shown to Tokk, and this will give a hint to the second half of the entrance puzzle. Notably, these portals have a slight delay in between Ori entering one side and exiting the other, giving the player more time to react and making the area overall easier and less confusing to navigate than the Ginso Tree. The Midnight Burrows mostly consist of movement puzzles in which Ori must navigate through portals that function nearly identically to the portals in Ori and the Blind Forest's Ginso Tree. The Burrows are also the only location that is not required to enter/pass through in order to beat the game, and in addition they are also the smallest area of the game. Due to many thorns on the path down to the Burrows, they cannot be reached without the Bash ability to jump above said thorns. The Midnight Burrows are found in the lower-left corner of the map below the Inkwater Marsh. The Midnight Burrows are a location found in Ori and the Will of the Wisps.
